After brain damage, “bigger” does not always mean “shorter”

In rehabilitation after a stroke, traumatic brain injury, or other brain injury, there is often a simple logic: the more you do, the more procedures, and the more you do, the better the result will be.
Walk more. More right. More procedures. Add electricity, heat, mud, medicinal water, massage, etc. “for a better effect.”

This logic largely came from sanatorium culture, efficiency was often associated with a number of purposes of procedures. And it is still alive in the minds of rich people, relatives, and sometimes fakers: since there are a lot of procedures, this means rehabilitation is “serious.”

However, immediate rehabilitation after brain damage follows a different logic.
Meta is not just “date more.”
Meta – select those that have a sense for this person, during this period and for this functional purpose.

After a brain injury, the patient may experience weakness in the arms and legs. There may be problems with respect, sensitivity, jealousy, agility, mental control (synergy), fatigue, shortness of breath, fear of falling or cognitive difficulties.

Therefore, “more attention” or “more procedures” does not always mean less rehabilitation.
This can also mean the reinforcement of ineffective compensations, decreased respect, a greater risk of failure, or simply wasting a lot of time on tasks that do not lead to a real functional goal.

Current physical therapy after brain damage does not require a large number of procedures. This includes professional care, training, identification of the causes of handicap (based on the current prognosis), setting a functional goal, dosing exercises, monitoring the patient’s type and continuous re-evaluation result.

An important question to ask is: “How much has the patient earned?” But “how many procedures have you done?”

Important questions:
• what do we train ourselves?
• Which function do you want to update?
• How does the crust color change over time?
• what does the delivery contribute to the cause of the patient’s collapse?
• what leads to greater independence?

Early rehabilitation is important. Activity is important. Repetition is important. Ale early does not mean chaotic. Intensively does not mean maximally. And a lot of procedures does not mean clearly.

After brain damage, rehabilitation may be active, but not thoughtless. Intense, but not aggressive. Nasichena, but not in a bad way.
Because metaphysical therapy will not give you “more than anything.”
Meta – to help people safely, step-by-step and functionally regain control over their lives, actions and powerful lives
