What is health?

Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being,
and not simply the absence of disease or physical ailments. This concept includes not only physical health, but also psychological and social well-being of a person. It is a key aspect of overall well-being and quality of life.

Physical health: Includes the functioning of organs and systems of the body without the presence of diseases
or violations. This includes proper nutrition, moderate physical activity, regular medical examinations and general care of the body’s health.

Mental health: Belongs to the state of emotional and psychological well-being of a person.
This includes the ability to cope with stress, emotional stability, healthy relationships with others,
as well as the absence of psychological disorders or mental illnesses.

Social health: Determined by the quality of a person’s relationships with other people and the social environment. This includes maintaining healthy and sustainable social connections, engagement
to social life, a sense of belonging to the community and access to the necessary resources
and services

Health is not a static state, it is influenced by various factors such as lifestyle, genetics, environment, social conditions and access to health services. Maintaining health requires a balanced approach to physical and psychological self-care
and social levels.
