If you have post-operative scars, scars received as a result of an injury, do not pass by, please pay attention to them, because this is a significant injury for your entire “Body-Psyche” system.

 I begin my work with a person with a survey, and I ask about scars first of all. I will tell you why.

Our entire body is built on the principle of integrity, which is ensured by circulation. If you do not really trust topics related to energy, the circulation of Qi along the meridians, then you definitely believe in the circulation of blood through the veins-vessels-capillaries. If the circulation is disrupted, then no treatment will be stable, a blockage has formed in the body, which will constantly aggravate the process.

This logic applies to all dysfunctions: organ dysfunction, any inflammatory process, adhesions, wounds, and … scars are also in this category. Any suture is a stop in movement. In the process of suturing, tissues are stitched together – skin, fascia, muscles, thus free sliding disappears and the body is constantly “pulled” into this area. The entire structure begins to adapt to the injury = scar, subconsciously protecting and immobilizing this area, which means that the scar area is gradually excluded from movement by the system. In this case, all movement will be built around this area, which means it will no longer be integral. That is why pumping the press, if you have scars after an appendectomy or cesarean section is not effective (at best), often the practitioner simply overloads the lower back.

Scars affect:

 Metabolic processes in the body: one of the organs is at a standstill; Lead to the formation of adhesions;

Affect intestinal peristalsis;

Affect the emotional sphere – the body has adjusted to the scar, we take a certain body position, twisting towards the stop of movement, respectively, we create a certain emotional model in the mind.

Affect the resource, because strength is needed to constantly compensate for the dysfunction, to level the state.

 How can you understand that the scar is significant for your system?

 Criteria:

– The tissues around the scar will differ from other intact areas. There will be no sliding, the movement will be limited in some direction. For example, over the scar you can notice how the so-called “apron” hangs, this often happens over the scar after a cesarean section.

This is an indicator of the stop of movement.

– The scar is associated with strong emotional experiences, the history of the injury itself, post-traumatic experience, etc.;

– You experience strong emotions at the thought of the scar, you are unpleasant to look at it, you avoid looking at it, and even more so it is difficult for you to touch it;

 – We have a wonderful diagnostic mechanism, I talk about it a lot in my classes. This is Breathing. If your breathing is delayed, out of tune when you touch a scar, it is worth working with;

With deep scars, the principle of movement will change, if the direction of movement of the arm or leg runs into a scar – this will already weaken the tone of the limbs. All movements in the body are carried out by certain muscle chains, gait is realized along diagonal lines. Scars in these places will weaken the participants of the movement. The body will compensate for such restrictions, overstraining other muscles and joints. Deep scars will involve internal organs, forming adhesions.

As you can see, scars should be given attention. Massages, acupuncture, hirudotherapy, taping, osteopathic correction work. Do self-massages, stroke them, include this zone in the general system, returning your parts of the soul. Yes, it may sound pompous, but when we are whole, we see the world differently.❤️

I will tell you live on how to work with scars osteopathically and carefully on your own. See you soon!
