Main goal of the conference: presentation of the international project for children and youth Tip for Kids

The project presents a holistic approach to addressing the problem of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) in children and adolescents by involving teachers, youth workers and parents using a variety of resources and tools.

Taken together, these components create a support system around children and adolescents, increasing the ability of those who work with and care for them to create an environment sensitive to the effects of trauma. Ultimately, this will contribute to the well-being and resilience of affected individuals.

The conference was attended by specialists from Belgium, Greece, Austria, Switzerland, Croatia, Bulgaria, and Germany. The professional audience included doctors, trauma therapists, clinical and crisis psychologists, forensic scientists, and IT professionals.

AKZ members will become ambassadors for the program, which helps people working with traumatized children and youth gain high-quality and diverse knowledge.
