Dear compatriots!

In February, members of the AKZ took an active part in the literary and musical evening dedicated to the 155th anniversary of Lesya Ukrainka. This performance was also seen by Ukrainians in Budapest – the project acquired international status.

“I have something in my heart that does not die…”

It sounded special.
Sincerely. Deeply. In Ukrainian.
An atmosphere of true unity, culture and strength of spirit was created.
It was not just an event.
It was a meeting with our identity.
With our word.
With our invincibility.
Special thanks to:
partners for cooperation and support of the international project “Slovenia-Hungary”
“TRIBUTE TO THE 155TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE BIRTH OF LESIA UKRAINKA”
With the participation of NGO “Razom”, NGO Ljubljana-Kyiv, NGO Society of Ukrainian Culture in Hungary
performers and actors for their talent and depth under the direction of the author of the project Valentyna Lavrenchuk (Olga Kyrychenko, Maria Reznik, Rimma Vatutina (Stubler))
Ariadna Bartai – great-grandniece of Lesia Ukrainka for the touching musical accompaniment;
to the guests of honor for their warm words and support of Ukrainian culture:
-Deputy President of the Ukrainian World Congress (UWC), Head of the World Federation of Ukrainian Women’s Organizations (WFOU), Head of the Society of Ukrainian Culture in Hungary – Yaroslava Hortyani
-Bešta Petr Petrovich

The evening showed: Ukrainian culture is alive.
It resonates in Europe

It unites generations.
And it truly has something that does not die.
